Smakołak was founded on a simple belief: a good product should speak for itself through its ingredients, flavour and quality - not just its packaging or a marketing slogan.
Our manufactory holds an organic certification, confirming that we operate in accordance with the required quality and control standards.
For us, however, it is more than just a document.
It is a commitment.
A commitment to the conscious selection of ingredients and products, transparent ingredient lists and responsibility for what reaches our customers.
We do not want to build Smakołak on grand promises. We prefer to build it on quality that you can see, read about in the ingredients and, above all - taste.
Why Was Smakołak Created?
From our own experience.
Too often, we came across products that looked exceptional at first glance - elegant packaging, high prices, terms such as “premium” - only to discover after reading the ingredients that the quality did not always live up to the image.
That is why we decided to create a place where:
- the ingredients are simple and transparent,
- quality is genuine, not merely claimed,
- flavour comes primarily from good ingredients,
- products are selected consciously, not at random.
That is how Smakołak was created - a brand built on naturalness, flavour, quality and an honest approach to food.
Who Are We?
Behind the Smakołak brand is Karolina Karwowska.
She takes care of the quality of our product range on a daily basis and ensures that the products available in the shop reflect the direction in which we want to develop the brand.
Karolina is personally involved, among other things, in:
- selecting products and suppliers,
- checking ingredient lists,
- packaging products,
- preparing and checking labels,
- checking individual batches before they go on sale,
- creating Smakołak recipes and culinary content.
We are a small, family-run brand.
We do not want to be an anonymous shop with hundreds of random products. We want Smakołak to stand for a real person, a distinctive taste and a clear approach to quality.
What Will You Find in Our Shop?

Every product is carefully reviewed by us before being added to our range.
We look at the ingredients, the quality of the raw materials, the flavour and the way the product is made. We do not want to expand our range at any cost. We would rather offer fewer products, but ones that genuinely fit the world of Smakołak.
We follow one simple principle:
we choose what we ourselves would want to eat, drink and serve to those closest to us.
Smakołak Is Also About Cooking
We do not want to limit ourselves to simply placing products on a shop shelf.
We want to show what you can do with them.
That is why we are developing our own Smakołak culinary space, where we create recipes, photographs, short videos and reels showing food the way we like it most - real, appetising and prepared without rushing.
We cook, bake, make homemade preserves, drinks and classic dishes, and our products appear where they genuinely belong.
We do not want to create intrusive advertising.
We want to create inspiration for cooking.
Tea can become the base for an iced drink. Preserve can be added to a dessert or breakfast. Honey can become part of a sauce, a bake or a homemade recipe.
In this way, Smakołak is meant to be more than just a shop.
It is meant to be a place you can return to for an idea, a recipe and inspiration.
Full Control Over What Reaches the Customer
We package many of our products ourselves.
We also prepare our labels ourselves and take care over the way our products reach our customers.
Why does this matter to us?
Because it allows us to maintain greater control over:
- freshness,
- labelling and ingredient information,
- product presentation,
- the quality of order preparation,
- transparency.
We do not want to leave everything in the hands of an anonymous process.
Wherever we can, we prefer to see the product, handle it and check it ourselves.
